Philip Kozer, the original founder of Fibre Case Corporation started the company on Wooster Street, New York City back in 1894. Currently we are a 3rd generation business with Elliot Kozer and Richard Rubin sharing shop and management responsibilities.
Fibre Case: Since 1894, Fibre Case in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has been making cases for clothing for the garment industry, which has been a major force in the city's economy, thanks to its many immigrant workers. This third-generation business manufactures cases much the same way it has for more than a century, although now the material is plastic, not fiber. "Among New York Centenarians, a Few Factories", New York Times, December 26 1999.
